Toya-Usu Eruption Memorial Park

mount usu erupted four times since 1900: in 1910, 1944-45, august 7, 1977 and on march 31, 2000. the eruption memorial park hosts the toyako volcano science museum and remnants of the 1977 volcanic eruption. the park was designed as a unesco global geopark in 2015. toya-ko, hokkaido, japan, october 2010.
